Pai Gow A popular Chinese gambling game played with dominoes
Pai Gow Poker A poker game based on the Chinese Domino game. Players are given seven cards each and must make a five card hand and a two card hand in which the five card hand must be higher than the two card hand. The player must attempt to beat the dealer's similar 2 hands. The player can win both hands, lose both or push (tie).
Pair In poker or video poker, two cards with the same rank.
Parimutuel

Races where the wagers are pooled and the winner's payoff relates to the number of total winners.

Pay Line In slots, the line on a slot machine window on which the symbols from the reel s must line up.
Pit The enclosed area in the center of several gaming tables in which casino supervisory personnel oversee dealers and players. A casino would typically have several pits.
Pit Boss The person who supervises all the games and casino personnel associated with a pit. Pit bosses watch for cheating, settle disputes and comps high rollers.
Preferential Shuffling In blackjack, shuffling of the cards by the dealer when the deck is favorable to the players, while avoiding a shuffle when the deck is unfavorable to the players.
Payback The percentage of winnings a machine/game will payout in relation to the amount bet.
PrePaidATM PrePaidATM is an ATM Card that is not tied to a bank account
Progressive Jackpot A large jackpot that grows progressively as bets are made. For each spin/hand played a small credit is added to the running jackpot total. It is possible to have several machines or several casinos linked together to form a combined jackpot.
Progressive Slots A group of slot machines linked together to pay one large jackpot. See also Progressive jackpot.
Push A push is a tie between a dealer and a player. Neither the player nor the casino wins.
Quads Four of a kind.
Raise In poker, to increase the amount of the prior wagers.
Rake The chips taken from the pot by the casinoa as compensation for hosting the game.
River In poker, the final card dealt in a hand of stud or hold'em.
Royal Flush In poker or video poker, a hand consisting of an ace high straight flush.
